We launched a pyramid to the moon in January 2025 with Meme World Order, LifeShip, and MoonDAO - a physical artifact containing a private key that maps to crypto wallets from multiple communities. Now we're building the digital infrastructure to keep that mission alive and bring new people into space culture. This proposal funds a Base mini-app that tracks the lunar pyramid's wallet balance in real-time, shows its location on the moon, and lets people submit digital art and messages to add to the bounty. The goal is simple: make space interesting again for retail crypto users and grow the lunar bounty into something impossible to ignore.

According to the [MoonDAO roadmap](https://docs.moondao.com/About/Roadmap) the organization should start designing Lunar Settlement this year. Rovers are major elements of it.

No unified standards for lunar rovers exist. By supporting this initiative, MoonDAO fulfills its mission and establishes itself as a leader in lunar exploration.

The standard should cover all the aspects of rover design, from the physical interface to the software stack.

Rover projects can realize immediate benefits by adopting specific components of the standard, such as command protocols, even without full implementation.

To succeed we need to form a global collaboration and adopt the standard. To secure the necessary resources, we plan to leverage the MoonDAO launchpad.

Phase Two focuses on preparing for a launch via the MoonDAO launchpad, formalizing community development processes, and establishing the initial draft of the standard.

Space is a new frontier in biology for two reasons: firstly we can use the lack of gravity for experiments that outperform terrestrial settings, and secondly because we need a whole set of new technology and know-how to tackle the space environment for human life. This project will produce a shared, peer‑reviewed technical baseline for MoonDAO’s future biological mission design and funding. The paper will collect and organize research, examples, and companies into a reliable review paper to help guide the whole sector. This helps MoonDAO and others understand the landscape of space bio, helps direct research, funding, and policy. The work will be coordinated by Expanse Bio, a new hub accelerating space biotech. The team of scientists leading this project have multiple experiences publishing high impact studies.

This proposal introduces an official **MoonDAO-branded Wave card design**, along with a **short explainer video** and a **dedicated export page**, that citizens can use with the Wave Connect platform.

Citizens will be able to visit a MoonDAO page, export their personalized card design, and upload it to their Wave card. When tapped or scanned, the card instantly shares their MoonDAO profile and relevant links.

The goal is to make MoonDAO citizenship **easy to represent, easy to share, and easy to understand** at real-world events, missions, meetups, and conferences.

Pulse v0 is a compact, smart wearable that can deliver medicine automatically and safely. In extreme or confined environments like spacecraft, analog habitats, or remote Earth locations giving yourself a shot is difficult. Gravity doesn’t help, spaces are tight, and even small mistakes like needle jams, backflow, or sensor errors can be dangerous. Medicines such as anti-nausea drugs, painkillers, antibiotics, allergy treatments, or even cancer therapies need precise delivery to keep people safe. Pulse v0 is a bench-top prototype, built to test whether a wearable can reliably and safely deliver medication without putting anyone at risk. This proposal outlines a strategic initiative for MoonDAO to establish a temporary physical presence in Florianópolis, Brazil, during April 2026, leveraging two major ecosystem events: **Discover Floripa** and **Ipê Village**. The Earth-Space Conservation and Demonstration Center (ESCDC), is a 338 acre space education and research analog site in Washington, New Hampshire. 0g-SPOT is an audio and visual podcast that explores human intimacy, relationships, and philosophical questions related to spaceflight. While most public conversations about space focus on technology and engineering, 0g-SPOT centers on the human experience - using thoughtful, tongue-in-cheek dialogue to make space more relatable and engaging to a general adult audience. Season 1 is already well underway: eight episodes have been recorded, with the first episode currently in professional post-production. Current episode guests include medical leaders in space, Star Trek royalty, sex experts, design experts, and health and wellness leaders in space. This proposal supports the completion, polishing, and distribution of the first eight episodes, enabling timely delivery of a high-quality media project that contributes to MoonDAO’s mission to shape a more human future in space. **ELI5:** Astronauts on a long mission face adverse challenges to their bodies: bones get weaker, muscles shrink, radiation damages DNA, and their brains start to slow down. It's like the body is aging really fast. Changes that take decades to occur on Earth, happen within weeks and months in space. We don't yet have good medicines to prevent it.

Some people, though, are naturally tougher: their genes make them more resistant to bone loss, radiation damage, or muscle wasting. The Spacefarer Phenome project wants to find gene variants that confer this resistance, and use them as a roadmap to develop drugs that could protect any astronaut.

The project will use large public databases of human genetic data, run them through a series of computational filters to find the most promising genetic "shields", and then virtually test existing drugs to see if any of them could be repurposed to flip those protective switches. The Spacefarer Phenome: a drug discovery pipeline for astronaut resilience

Moonshot Celebration is a simple idea: people write one short wish and send it to the Moon. Anyone can participate for free, and if they want a keepsake they can choose an optional digital or printed certificate. This project is a three-month MoonDAO pilot that tests whether "Send Your Wish to the Moon" can (1) bring new people into MoonDAO's orbit, (2) create measurable engagement and community growth, and (3) generate sustainable revenue through a transparent revenue-share model. Imagine a big, exciting festival in Uganda where hundreds of young blockchain developers come together to learn, build, and dream big. Our team wants to turn this into a MoonDAO launchpad for Africa! We will use the Blockchain Developer Festival (DevFest Kampala 5.0) on June 27, 2026, to introduce MoonDAO to local devs in super-simple ways. We'll show how blockchain helps us build a real lunar settlement by 2030. The event ends with a post-event hackathon in July where teams create MoonDAO-inspired projects. Bringing MoonDAO to Africa: Blockchain Developer Festival Kampala 2026 Community Activation & Hackathon

We are organizing a series of space-focused community events in Florianópolis to help Brazilian entrepreneurs and builders understand that working on lunar settlement is realistic and within reach.

The program includes 3 Space Day/Night meetups (30 people each) leading up to Space Week in October 2026 — our third year running this initiative. The main event is a dedicated MoonDAO Track inside the official NASA Space Apps Challenge Florianópolis (October 3–4, 2026, at Founder Haus in Jurerê).

During the events, core MoonDAO team members will give clear talks on space technology, lunar settlement, what a DAO is, and why building decentralized space projects and businesses through DAOs makes sense. We will also showcase real companies from around the world that are already creating solutions to advance the Moon.

The goal is simple: connect entrepreneurs, builders, and digital nomads from across Brazil with MoonDAO and give them practical ways to start contributing to lunar settlement.

MoonDAO is building a permanent lunar settlement—and it's time to start designing it. The Lunar Base Design Initiative brings together space architects, systems engineers, habitat designers, and MoonDAO citizens to produce the first community-driven concept design for a lunar base.

This is Phase 1: three months of focused work to define what MoonDAO's lunar base could actually look like its architecture, life support approach, power systems, and construction strategy. We're planning to deliver in Q2 a solid conceptual foundation.

When Phase 1 is done, MoonDAO will have a shared design language, a set of concept documents every citizen helped shape, and a clear plan for the deeper engineering work ahead.

We want to tell exciting space stories through videos so more people can learn about space and feel inspired. Think of it like making a space TV show that follows real people, real missions, and real experiences—so anyone, even a kid, can understand and get excited about space.

This project builds a simple tool that shows how activity from the Sun affects satellites around Earth. When the Sun is more active, satellites experience more drag and can lose altitude faster. This dashboard will show this risk in real time in a way that anyone can understand.

MoonDAO Project Proposal

We propose the development of a Mexican and Latam Aerospace Competency Intelligence System Agency to define the skills, capabilities, and profiles required for entry-level talent to successfully integrate into the global space industry.

In simple terms:
 We will ask the world's leading space organizations—agencies, companies, and training centers—what they actually need in the next generation of space professionals, and use that data to build the first standardized talent pipeline for Latin America aligned with real industry demand.

This initiative serves as the foundation for:

- A Latin American Astronaut Training & Aerospace Education Ecosystem
- Workforce readiness programs aligned with the New Space economy
- Strategic partnerships between MoonDAO and global space stakeholders

Anna Shaposhnik is proposing the funding of a small deployable stabilizing camera capsule for capturing 3rd person point of view of rocket deployment and the fall to Earth. The project is unique for its compact size and use of common off-the-shelf hardware. This project is a technology step in her company ORBES (https://orbes.space) larger vision of providing new ways to document space projects.

Problem

Rockets and satellites don't have a 3rd person POV, yet visual imagery is one of the most important exports from space missions. Blue Origin is among the first to give us stunning 360 view of the new Shepard deployment. As we look to the future, engineering robust and small tools to capture dynamic shots of a mission will be paramount, both for LEO, the Moon and Mars.
