The Project System

Each quarter, contributors submit project proposals that go through a Senate Vote for approval and a Member Vote for prioritization. Approved projects are funded upfront, and once complete, submit a final report to earn retroactive rewards based on community voting.

NowSubmit · Proposal

Anyone can submit a project proposal through the proposal portal. Each proposal lays out the problem, the solution, the team, and a budget capped at 1/5 of the quarterly rewards. Proposals can be edited at any time leading up to the Townhall.

Human Rated Vacuum Chamber Outfitting and DAO Citizen Technology Testing

Budget: $undefined

This is a high-level description of the idea. Please use ELI5 (explain like I'm five years old) wording and summarize things for anyone to understand what you want to achieve. I would like to propose the purchase and installation of new vacuum chamber components at the University of New Mexico's human rated altitude chamber. I would also like to propose open testing opportunities to support lunar human habitation research within the community. The budget for the project is about $300 over the maximum but I will cover that out of pocket myself.

Satellite Payload and Secondary Education Project

Budget: $undefined

We are building a tiny, high-tech space science experiment (a satellite payload) that will launch into space on a real rocket! Think of it like packing a "Space Backpack" with special sensors to measure radiation and temperature up in orbit. To make it fun and easy for everyone to learn from, we are creating a cartoon story series featuring a character named Luzinha the Space Scout. Kids and students will get to follow her adventures on social media, see her live data, and learn how real satellites work, and use the satellite for high school student analog mission. The mission is called LUZINH...

PULSE (now know as TOGO) : Enabling Automated Medicine Delivery During IVA & EVA

Budget: $undefined

Space is the future for our civilization, and while substantial work is being done to physically get us there quicker and for less money, we still need to work to ensure that people can live and work while in space. Specifically, we need to make sure that more than just a very select few can leave our world. So, we work to bridge the medical gap and allow access to space for more people and also make the lives of those already there or about to go a bit easier and safer. Our Automatic Injection System is designed to administer medications to astronauts without them having to think about it. Th...
